And since sometimes our bakes go from very high to low temperatures and vice versa, the fiberglass-reinforced mats can withstand temperatures from -40 °F to 465 °F. It’s completely safe for cooking at high temperatures as well as freezing.

Silpat® mats are made of fiberglass mesh coated with the highest quality food-grade silicone. This exceptional combination provides optimal heat distribution for even cooking, and is completely non-stick.

 

The number of uses may vary depending on what you cook with your mat. When used and cared for properly, Silpat® mats have a service life of at least 2,000 baking cycles. Of course, taking proper care of your mat will help prolong its life. Take good care of it!


 

We make every effort to ship your orders as quickly as possible. Most orders placed before 12pm EST Monday-Friday will go out same day. Orders placed after 12pm or on weekends will go out the next business day.

 

Currently, all orders (excluding special or bulk orders) are shipped from New Jersey via USPS unless otherwise noted. You will receive a tracking number for your order when it is fulfilled.

You can clean your Silpat® molds and mats with water and dish soap. Make sure to use the non-abrasive side of the sponge to avoid damaging the product. Shake off any excess water, then air dry.
 

Unlike low-cost molds and mats, high-quality Silpat® molds and mats can be safely refrigerated and frozen (they can withstand temperatures down to -40°F). You can unmold them as soon as you take them out of the freezer. The same applies to baking. Silpat® products are oven-safe up to 500°F, but let the mold cool down a bit before handling it so you don’t burn yourself.

 

Ideally, Silpat® mats and molds should be stored in their original packaging. You can also store them flat or rolled up with a Silband tie, but never fold them.
