Like all great recipes, Maison Demarle’s story began in the kitchen, with its founders: Guy Demarle, a renowned French baker, and Roger Messio, Maison’s creator and a bakery engineer. They way they blended their savoir-faire and creativity revolutionized the trade, from its craftsmanship to its engineering.
Now, 50 years later, the ingenious visionary spirit of its founders lives on in Maison Demarle’s products. Their pooled expertise in non-stick baking supplies has made our products indispensable to the world’s greatest chefs and home bakers alike.
Most importantly, Maison Demarle is a French success story—a small family business that grew locally, at first, and whose products can now be found in kitchens the world over. The group is still based out of its historic factory in the north of France, and continues to design, develop, and manufacture new products at both of its production sites. One of them is located in Cateau-Cambrésis and the other in Wavrin (Demarle site). Maison Demarle has also had a US subsidiary in Princeton, NJ, for more than 20 years.
