REQUIRED TOOLS : Silpat Half Size Baking Mat, Cook N Cool tray
INGREDIENTS:
- 12 mozzarella sticks
- 2 cups of bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp. of butter
- ½ tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp. of garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. of oregano
- 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp. of water
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 415°F
- Prepare your Silpat Baking Mat in your Cook N Cool tray
- In a bowl, mix the bread crumbs, salt, garlic powder, oregano and cayenne pepper together
- Add the melted butter, mix and set aside
- In a bowl, whisk the 3 eggs and add a splash of water
- Pour the flour in another bowl
- Dip each mozzarella sticks in the flour
- Then dip them in the egg wash
- Finally dip them in the bread crumb mixture
- Set the mozzarella sticks on the mat and bake for 15 min
- Eat warm
